somehow it feels like pages are missing. the story develops too quickly for my taste. the characters seem very one-dimensional

Amazing!

Once I started reading the book, I couldn't put it down! I realize that it was supposed to be a retelling of Goldilocks and the three bears, but other than at the very beginning, it didn't really feel like it, which I LOVED. It's definitely a dark read with plenty of tw's, but it was soooo good! I loved the spice level as well. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes dark, spicy books!

It felt like this book tried to be both light and dark and instead of it being a good mix it felt jarring. The TW implied that the darker things that happened to the fmc were done by the mmcs but this wasn’t really the case. The relationship building felt more forced than anything and didn’t feel natural at all. Overall I felt like this book couldn’t make its mind up about what direction it wanted to take so just chucked together several contrasting elements hoping it would work but it didnt

Holy bear shifters. This book was dark and hot. I absolutely love Gem and seeing her grow, even though she had been through hell. Kevin, Blake, and Nathaniel are the perfect mates for Gem. This story truly tested all my emotions and I could not have been happier with the ending.

I'm absolutely in love with this new take on Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Cannot wait for whatever Cassia Briar dishes out next.
