Honestly, it's pretty solid. I remember loving the Labryinth being the setting for this book, and the ending and how it sets up The Last Olympian was awesome. That being said, I still remember finding this book really boring at times. But yet again, maybe I need to re read this series, because by the time I read this I lost steam in my reading interest.

This is my least favorite book in the series because a lot of this book was talking and not much happened until the end but it was still a good book you just need patients and I for sure don't have patients.

I really enjoyed reading this book especially because it continues to not follow that cycle of a chapter an enemy. I like how it was more of a storyline instead of split up challenges. I feel like this book also explored more in old mythology and really brought more minor gods and goddesses in which is nice because I feel like the major gods are already known. So having the pieces of other gods makes me feel like I learned something from this book. I also feel like Percy grew a lot from this book and that it will be important for the rest of the series.

A very clever series, and this one earns an extra star for the brilliant send-up of standardized testing.
