Another great book in this series that I loved! While it was a little unbelievable, I mean, cmon, it’s a romance novel, that’s to be expected, it was a fun, happy read. I’d love to see another book featuring Adrian and Vanessa!

Dealt with a lot of heavy topics that seemed to get fixed relatively easily. There was a little too much and not enough going on for me. Loved having a baby be a part of the story though, and the character banter is top tier as always. Just didn't feel connected to this trilogy's characters and I don't know why

Abby Jimenez does it again!! Vanessa has a 50% chance of getting ALS and Adrian is a workaholic. They're neighbors who become fast friends that quickly turn into a relationship. Loving someone with a chronic illness can be hard and loving them throughout all their decision whether you agree with them or not can be even harder. I loved how she showed the difficulties through that and how she made sure that Grace was always a priority. I can't wait for the next book as always!

Miscommunication is easily my least favorite trope, but I will admit this was done in an interesting way.
Both MCs had mostly the same information, but interpreted it differently and it led to conflict once the truth came out. However, I felt like the length of time that Adrian was in the dark was not believable - with how obsessed he apparently was with Vanessa, it's incredibly weird that he never watched any of her videos where she supposedly mentions her 50/50 shot at having ALS frequently, or that Becky never mentioned it as an avid fan. My other main complaint was the very end - it all wrapped up so quickly and a ton of things happened in the last chapter/epilogue. I would have liked maybe a chapter after the big reveal that Adrian was looking for her that was from Adrian's POV of the time he spent working on himself. Adrian didn't feel very developed throughout the book and then all the big character development he did get happens off page - disappointing.
Overall this was an insanely fast read and cute with a secret Christmas theme.
