A slow start but in the end a very interesting case. Maybe a book more about Carl, Assad and Rose, preparation for upcoming parts of the series?

This was perhaps my favorite of the Department Q novels - I loved the development of the team that has happened. Carl's team has become a unified force and they are brilliant!

I love the department Q novels. This one redeemed the series after the rather lacklustre Marco effect. I don't think I will ever tire of the banter between Carl and Assad, and I hope the next instalment sheds more light on Rose.
