I feel bad for this author because the book is really nicely done, but had I would not have picked up this book myself (a friend lent it to me) because the cover art is so bad. The main character is likable, fierce and flawed. The side characters are fun as well. It felt like it could be easily made into a TV show. It had elements of Kind Arthur's characters, but it wasn't solely focused on them.

3.5 stars. Not as enjoyable as some, but still good.

I liked reading these when I was a teen and they're still good as an adult. Funny as ever.

Actually a re-read for me, though I don't remember when I first picked this book up. Loved it, great story.
My only complaints might be that you never found out why the one sister tried to get the other one knocked off...
Oh, and it is kind of weird that Gawain and Terence are like 38 to 40. No longer teenagers, anyway xD

This is a wonderful book, very exciting and action packed! Although I admit that the cover of the book is rather... well, ugly, it's a wonderful story. It is a retelling, but I've never read the original story, so I don't know how accurate this book is, but it was very enjoyable in my eyes! I'm afraid that this is the 7th book in this series, but the first I've read! It can easily be a stand-alone book, but I am going to read this series from the beginning, ASAP.

It was with great anticipation that I read this book. And I wasn't disappointed. Although, I would have liked more jabs at the ever-annoying Ywain.
