I'll start with what I loved, although this book kind of started as an enemies to lovers I would actually say it was far more love at first sight; with both characters being kind of oblivious to their respective feelings. I actually ended up liking how quickly they got together, and there was this time during the story were they were just enjoying getting to know each other. (Don't get me wrong they moved extremely quickly LOL but I didn't find myself minding it).
I really loved so many parts of this book, but as a whole some parts were definitely lacking. Some of the bigger aspects of the book didn't quite feel like they had closure, and even more than that I felt like while Grant had a really developed backstory Jo was kinda left in the lurch with hers. With heard about how she felt (and why she was so closed off) only a handful of times, then that was kind of it; suddenly she has no hesitations with a relationship??
I also felt like the whole thing with Grant's father and even broader the land rights weren't really addressed at the end well, just kind of like oh well Jo's family didn't sign; but damn what about all the other farms that did???
