Tanya Lloyd Kyi is always going to be a fun time for middle-grade nonfiction, and this is no exception. The facts here are genuinely interesting and cover a broad ground. I think any kid will find this to be a fun and informative place to start (and I'm sure many adults will find it enjoyable, just as I did). Ross Kinnaird's illustrations are always funny and cartoonish, making for a pleasant addition to the book.
