Okay I liked it: strange but true considering I don't have a good relationship with romance.
What I liked most was the Christmas atmosphere and the setting in London, which allowed me to get fully into the story and appreciate it more than I thought I would. I also liked the theme of “second choice” which is often not dealt with and in which I (unfortunately) mirror myself hugely.
Despite being a Christmas romance it is not full of clichés and in context I turned a blind eye to everything I would usually describe as 'unrealistic'. Despite this, certain parts I found awkward and felt uncomfortable…
Another negative point is the characterisation of the female character, which I (really sorry) found flat and two-dimensional.
On the whole, however, I enjoyed reading it and I recommend it, because it is a light, enjoyable novel that does not require any particular commitment.

Another sweet Christmas novel that is the literary version of a hallmark movie. I loved it.

I have been diving in to a lot of romcoms and contemporary romances lately to catch up on all that I have been missing of that world and Christmas Baggage has been one of my favorite reads for sure!

My favorite trope is Enemies to Lovers and then you add in Grump and Sunshine and Forced Proximity and I am in heaven. So this book definitely had so many things going for it!

Claire and Liam are just the best. I love the banter between them and Claire's nerdy side. You just want to be best friends with her and watch a marathon of Harry Potter movies together. Liam is such a sweetheart under his gruffness and I love that because of Clair he can soften around the edges.

I feel like with Romcoms especially there has to be a balance to everything. Christmas Baggage had it all...Humor, Romance, Depth, Wit, and Swoony Kisses.

If you want a perfect romcom that will have you turning page after page this is definitely one that hit the mark for me.

I now have read every single book from her and will always be a die hard fan.

Physical Intimacy: PG lvl 1 (just kisses)

This was such a fun book! I love how Deborah throws in pop culture/nerdy Easter eggs into the story I need a bingo of that!

This was an enjoyable way to kick off the multi-author series. It did take me a little bit to feel like I really connected to the main characters, so it wasn’t my favourite from the series, but I still enjoyed it. They main characters got off to a rough start but the romance built throughout the story. It’s a sweet story.
