Whew! My emotions were all over but I’m glad to see that family is always first, no matter what. My love for Nina and Shaun is so strong. Sis let me know when you got this and book one in paperbacks so I can hand you my coins. Lol.

Shaun and Nina were made for each other
All I can hear in my head as I read this conclusion and thought about Nina and Shaun’s journey was Nipsey saying ‘on hood’. There is a loyalty that comes with places deemed hopeless and of no value. But what many don’t realize is there are great things that come from those places. Shaun’s life of sacrifice and Nina’s determination to be the best at what she did are the prototypes of what the hood is all about. It isn’t about lack but ingenuity and finding success, love and family in spite of.
