I completely embraced the darkness with this story. It was intense and surprising and I am still reeling from reading it. I loved every minute of reading it and could not put it down. This was a crazy roller coaster ride and I do not want to give anything away. You should definitely go into this without reading any spoilers. I can't wait for more from Isabella Starling. I look forward to reading what she has in store for us next.

I've been waiting to read this story ever since Isa told us about it and let me tell you it was so worth the wait.

This story was something else. I've read several of Isabella's book's and this lady can write some dark stuff she has this way with her writing that has you experiencing what the main character's are going through that's why she's one of my favorite arthur's.

This is a standalone, but to better understand this story I'd recommend reading Tyrant Twins to better understand Parker/Nox and his obsession with Dove in this book. This book is dark and all kinds of twisted bad decions. I'd definitely recommend it if that's your thing, but be warned it does have triggers.

Dove and Nox's story was downright fiery and intense!
Poor Dove is living in the grey area of life, neither living nor dying, just existing. Her brother Robin keeps her balanced, even though she is hurting herself with her issues.
Nox/Parker is silently stalking her, keeping to the shadows, he is extremely obsessed and quietly biding his time to reconnected with Dove.
Isabella Starling imagined these characters and put them into words, she expresses their emotions of pain, sadness, and lust with such precision and care that the reader becomes obsessed to realize the outcome.

This is another great dark read from Isabella Starling.
Nox is obsessed with Dove but after what he did to her years ago he should stay away but he can't.
Dove is living her life but only just. What happens when Nox comes back into her life.
A must read full of emotion, so much drama but will they get the life that he wants.
Brilliant ending.

Not at all the story I was expecting- but at this point I should expect that from Isabella. She somehow always keeps me on her toes- her stories always erotic, twisted, unpredictable, and jaw dropping.

While this can be read as a standalone- this story is best read as a companion to the prior book which introduces us to Nox, his family, and the beginning of Nox and Dove’s connection. Not only does it give you the foundation to their relationship, but it also gives you a deeper window into Nox as a character- and makes his evolution in this series even more captivating.

Picking up a few years later, we have Nox obsessively stalking sweet little Dove- the girl he broke who somehow both hates and craves him. Our story begins with us reconnecting with Nox, as he’s been watching Dove. Dove is truly broken- and she’s a threat to herself with her own destructive behavior. His fixation with her and her fragility soon override his need to stay hidden- and they reconnect in a disturbing, captivating, and toxic cycle. Their chemistry is transfixing- but depraved, deranged, dark and naughty.

What I love about this story is just how broken and unstable both Dove and Knox are. Their baggage, their perversions fit together so perfectly - what might feel depraved to someone else feels sweet and fulfilling to them. They are both scarred by their pasts- both with each other and with Nox’s family. Isabella truly did what I thought was impossible- she endeared me to Nox. His character journey was totally unexpected, and quite moving- we see his humanity, his heart, and his “softer” side- he ends up being kidna swoony. Only Isabella could make us swoon over a deranged stalker. I wish we got into Dove’s journey- we see a lot of change in her, but I felt like we understood her much less than Nox, I wanted to break into her psyche as much as we got Nox’s, and i think that may have helped me connect with her more.
All in all, an interesting and twisted read- all that I love about Isabella Starling!

Wow! These two! This author takes you deep into the darkness with Nox! Dove is a good girl, volunteers and minds her own business trying to forget the traumatic events of her past and move on with her life. Hard thing to do when her past seeks her out. Nox knows he's not a good man. If heart counts for anything... Well he still wouldn't be a good man but once he sees the truth about himself he does try to make amends. This book is a rollercoaster so very very hot but will make you mad enough at Nox I wouldn't read it near an open window or you might be tempted to throw it lol. These two are angst to the max but I loved every word!

Super Dark and Good

I had to take a lot of breaks reading this. I thought I didn’t have any triggers, I guess I do and this book really shed some light on somethings … what you think can’t be redeemed may surprise you. I can’t believe that she made me fall for Parker!

I love stalker romances so, so much. There aren’t as many out there as I’d like and a lot of the ones I’ve read aren’t that great. The ones that are good though, they are so satisfying.

That is how I feel. This book was so deeply satisfying. I loved Dove and Nox’s story so much. I was nervous going in because Nox was most definitely a villain in Tyrant Twin. I love reading dark romances and he pushed boundaries for me.

I had no idea what to expect from Nox in his own full length book. I can’t even articulate how good this book is. Nox is a different man than who we met in Tyrant Twin, he wakes up from a 6 year coma after the end of that book. He goes to watch and wait for the girl who he didn’t realize was the one for him all along. He’d left Dove broken and scarred in Tyrant Twin. He was in a coma and she was busy punishing herself.

I wasn’t expecting how much Nox would help her heal. Who knew he had that in him. It was a balm for the soul reading him cultivating her own healing, growing stronger and better.

Nox is still very much an antihero in this book, but his redemption arc was so profound and raw. You know when you read a book and you can feel in your soul that you’re going to have a book hangover. Yep, that’s where I am. Book hangover, here I come. It was worth it though. I can’t wait for Tyrant Daddy!

Dark & Steamy

This is my first book from Isabella Starling and it’s one of the best stalker books I’ve read so far. Dove thinks Parker/Nox died and after what he did to her she should be happy he’s gone but she can’t bring herself to feel that way as she still misses him. For the past few years Nox has been stalker Dove watching from the shadows and when the time is right he will move in and make her his again. Nox is the perfect anti hero you want to hate him for what he’s done to Dove and others but I just couldn’t . I was sad when the book ended I sat up all night reading it , I might read Raphaels book.
