This collection of stories is perfect for this time of year. I loved the variety in tales, and there isn't a bad one in the bunch. Honestly, I'm kinda upset I can't spend more time in the worlds set up in these little tales. Can all the authors write novels to continue their stories, please? Kthanx.

A solid modern Halloween collection

While not all the stories in this anthology are "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark" levels of horror, this varied and vivid anthology puts the "boo" in books. Each author adds their own twist to a holiday that's about more than just candy. Witches' spells, life after death, conspiracies to blow up a pumpkin... This one has it all.

And it's inclusive, in case you wanted an excuse. Some of the stories include love between same-gendered characters. Some are hetero. Some aren't romantic at all. It's all good, because they're all about Halloween.
