Sorely in need of a good editor. The first section reads worse than a middle school textbook. Explanations are often vague and raise more questions than they answer. Later sections get very repetitive. Author sometimes throws out statistics, but never cites any sources and doesn't list a bibliography (this despite constant griping about how unscientific some gardeners and gardening trends are, and how only methods proven by science!! should be trusted, conveniently leaving out any sources that the reader can check to get a direct read on the science itself).
