This book is layered, and dark and light and sad and funny and hopeful and tense!
The first few paragraphs had me on edge (not in a good way) but I am so glad I persevered as I really did think it was quite an epic journey.
Told from 3 POV's that are connected through more than blood, this is a story that deal with some pretty dark but every day situations and spans across oceans.
It really throws into perspective the idea of forgiveness (not just for others but also for ourselves) and a love of rich language and home; whatever you perceive that to be.
I won't actually say too much on this apart from:
1) please Dm me for trigger warnings
2) I would suggest listening to it on audio (I can imagine if I were physically reading it, I'd have given up early on and missed out).

Love, friendship, parenting, biases, religion all the themes explored in this book. I loved Betty and Mr. Chetan, Solo not so much.
Children can eat the mother but mother can’t eat her child. But God is Love always.
