Extremely good, unexpected, super raw and funny. Looking forward to more from this author. The (very good) narrator for audio positively *cannot* even vaguely approximate a Scottish accent, but it didn't even really take me out of the story.

THIS BOOK IS SO STRESSFUL TO READ.
If you just read part 1 and part 2 you'll be thinking um it's intense but like it's fine part 3 let me tell YOUU I was tense on the edge of my seat I hatteeeddd it but in a good way it was so difficult to read.
Definitely don't read this if you don't like an unreliable narrator, Samantha is like the most unreliable narrator ever but I loved it. I questioned so much what was real and you can really see the shift of how she sees the world throughout the book, and it definitely feels like you're living through it with her, it's crazy.
Spoiler Also can i just say... max is so hot I cannot believe he was KILLED I want him BACK like I know he's a freak but PLEASE 🙄🙄
The book goes in a very different direction than I thought it would near part 3 and I honestly started not enjoying it too much, hence the minus .5 stars, but this book had me on the edge of my seat the entire time, read it regardless in 3 sittings I LOVED it. The ending is a smack in your face that leaves you with a hole in your chest so yeah <3 read it

I’ve been sitting on this review for literal weeks because I’m not sure exactly what I could say about this novel. Sharp and dripping with sarcasm I loved every second of getting to know our MC and the bunnies. The stream of consciousness writing style was lovely, there was so much biting humor here but also vulnerability in what it means to be an artist and what it feels like to not match up. This was like the Heathers, meets a hive mind cult of adorable girls, meets one giant metaphor for being an artist. I loved every weird and off putting second.

Unsure how to review this tbh, it's pretty mind-boggling. Enjoyed the setting and the MC, did get a bit unnerved towards the end which I suppose is the intent! I think this genre is just not for me, it's hard for me to fully appreciate or grasp lol. I can see why people love it but I finished it thinking wow! That was unpleasant. Not great for a gal who reads for escapism. Very very cleverly written though!
