It might already be too late.
Kendra… Kendra Kendra Kendra…. WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO ME!?!?
Let me start out by saying that I have been with Matt since the first book tour of Matt Archer: Monster Hunter. I was skeptical to say the least. Teenage monster hunter? Uhhhhhh…. but I decided, why not? So I signed up. Best decision of my life. Worst decision of my life? Reading this book in public places. Like the airport. The plane. The bus ride to Disneyland. Disneyland. I’m sure people looked at me like a total lunatic while I cried reading this book. So many characters left us in this book. The scene when the men are getting ready to go into the cave and you know who loses his you know what? I stopped dead in my tracks walking through Disneyland with my mouth hanging open staring at my phone, throat burning trying to keep from sobbing.

Besides being pissed that nearly everyone I cared for in this book died, this was incredible finish to the story. Everything came full circle, and the solution to the puzzle that has spanned so many books now has finally come to light (lol unintentional pun there!). And boy was it a doozy. I don’t want to say a lot, only because if I start ranting I’m going to spoil the whole book. But one thing is for certain: this is a series I will read over and over again. I love the characters so much. All of them. There was never a character I didn’t like. Even Ann and the main bad man himself I loved to hate. We lost so many over the course of these books and I hurt every time I think about them.

I only have one thing to complain about and this is going to be spoilers for those who haven’t read the book yet: where was Johnson and Blakeny and all them at the end? And where are Matt’s other groomsmen?? It better be those 2 at least! I’m glad Matt somewhat got his happy ending, especially getting his knife back. And Tink of course! And his dad AND THE TWINS! Poor Mike and Julie haha!

Thank you, Kendra, for allowing us to know Matt and his world. He will stay in my heart alongside the likes of Harry Potter for the rest of my life. I’m proud to be able to say that I have read these books and wish everyone in the world to get to know Matt like I have!

Oh, this was such a great book, and so sad too, I cried, and I almost never cry, and yeah, I just wish we could've had more book, especially the ending, after everything was over, or the epilogue, it had a lot of information of how their lives had gone on, but I want more!!! All in all, really great ending to the series! And I'm sad to see it go!
