I liked this more than vol 1.

Winter Soldier appears and it gets really interesting.

There is at least a slight improvement from the first volume in terms of coherence and flow. I really like the art, too. It's just hard to follow a story when, you know, there's not much of a story to follow.

This was so good! I have to say, I definitely think I preferred it to The Finely Woven Thread! The storyline didn't feel *quite* as disorderly as it did in volume one, (although I still wish it wasn't all so disjointed, as it can definitely be hard to follow at times!)

I loved all the cameo's (hello Bucky, Spider-Man, Tony Stark AND Hawkeye?!?!) it was so much fun to see them integrated into Black Widow's story. I do wish there was more explanation - or I knew more - about the back stories between Natasha and the other marvel characters, I felt like I probably missed out on some plot points by not knowing...

Once again the art style is utterly gorgeous. And that ending!!!!!! I'm excited to see where this story leads and ends, as right now I have no idea. I'm hoping there is at least some kind of conclusion. :')

First the good: The art is amazing. It continues with the very good premise the first volume established: what does Black Window do for repentance and to make amends on her past when she is not Avenging? The bad? The missions presented are repetitive and the book is more cameo-bait than character development (seriously, we have Daredevil, Hawkeye, Punisher, X-23, the Avengers in the background, and even Anderson Cooper) without fleshing out her character more.

The art is muddy, the story is incoherent and the Black Widow is almost unrecognizable. And it had Frank Castle aka the Punisher which is never a good thing. And Laura Kinney aka X-23 which would have been cool if her appearance made sense and she was written and drawn correctly which she wasn't. And Black Widow was acting as a soldier and not being great at it. And needing to be rescued over and over. The book had potential but instead it was kind of annoying. Maybe the next issue will be better.
