As an artist, I absolutely love when Alex is able to draw the dragons so realistically that they pop up from the page. And I love/hate the part where his left arm is paralyzed and he PROBABLY CAN NEVER DRAW LIKE HE USED TO EVER AGAIN!!!!!

Quality finale. Just a whole book of intense battle and twists and turns. There are many imperfections of course, but the fantasy and magic of this world is so enthralling and totally consumes you… it is unmatched in its ability to transport the reader, and that is a gift. I feel so happy to have experienced the magic of these books.

A good ending to a good series. It did an excellent job of showing the sacrifices of the final battle, and it didn't seem like the victory was handed to them. The beginning was a bit slow and direction-less, but after the major threat was introduced, it got interesting again. There were also a few parts of the battle that seemed improbable.

Overall, I was satisfied with the end, but also curious about how the next series will go.

This is how you wrap up a series!! The conclusion to the Unwanteds was absolutely amazing and spectacular! The story lines and character development were at it's best and it made me so happy and also sad that it took 7 books to get here. Nevertheless the story of the Unwanteds wrapped up beautifully and I am very happy with this series. All in all this entire series gets a 4 star rating from me because of the predictability, the lack of character growth, and the somewhat repetitive story. If any one is looking for a fun, enjoyable, magical read then I recommend the Unwanteds by Lisa McMann! Last but not least I am looking forward to seeing how the story grows in the new series The Unwanteds Quests!!!!
