this was so good!! i loved getting more of the geekerella story and at first i didn’t think i would like jess, but i loved it. i love how this ended and was smiling so much because ahhh cute!!! i can’t get over how many of the nerdy culture references there was and how i really relates to this series, i hope there’s more! this series, geekerella and the characters associated, are starting to mean a lot to me.

Wasn’t what I was expecting. Based off the synopsis, I assumed that the princess and the da girl would end up together but that’s not the case.

I have never read The Prince and the Pauper so I was not as familiar with the tale, but I still enjoyed this retelling in the Starfield universe. We also get to see all our favorite characters from Geekerella again so that was a lot of fun.

-"There are stories that you tell and stories that tell things to you; stories that win awards and stories that win hearts. Sometimes they're the same. Sometimes they aren't. Sometimes the stories you want aren't the ones you need, and the ones you need are the ones you never thought you'd like."

-"Sometimes the stories we need are the ones that can show us a happy ending and make us feel whole and welcome and loved."

What a fun read. However I needed more of it to truly love it. Like I could get behind both of the ships but there's just not enough time spent on it for me to. I quite liked these characters but I needed more then the weekend.
If this had been like the first book and then the second book followed them like back in thier hometown then the potential to build on the relationships and friendships could be there but instead taking place only over the weekend, it does come off a little insta-love and therefore makes it hard to become invested but I could have been.
