Colin Bridgerton's story was pleasant, but somehow left me feeling unsatisfied. I rather thought that maybe I was growing tired of the Bridgerton's in general. Eloise's story was such a refreshing change of pace that it sucked me back in. Francesca's story was not quite as delightful as Eloise's, in my opinion, but was still interesting. I think the departure from the original m.o. was a good idea and I hope the remainder of the books follow suit.

I liked these three books even more than the first three books and read the whole collection in three days. Just plain old predictable fun.

I have so many feelings about these books, I love the Bridgerton family dynamic but I wish we got to see more of that. I know each book is about a specific one but I miss the family drama and relationships the farther I get into the series. That being said if I had to pick a favorite couple from this collection I’d have to pick Colin and Penelope. It’s frustrating thought because Michael was everything I would have picked for Eloise (Phillip is a great guy just not for her) and Eloise is easily my favorite Bridgerton (Benedict though is a close second, I have a feeling Hyacinth might best both of them tho.)
