Okay, so this was sooo campy. If you want a cheesy 2000s YA novel this book is for you. I was laughing out loud at scenes that definitely weren’t suppose to be funny. I wanted to hate this but I just couldn’t. If I was a preteen this would have definitely been a book I’d have picked up again and again for nostalgia.

I think a certain type of reader would absolutely hate this book but if you love a paranormal cheesy YA novel you will absolutely enjoy this journey.

Just in case you still don’t know the vibe this book gives I would call it an Alien Twilight with a boy next door/enemies to lovers twist.

A lighthearted and fun read but the main relationship represented was toxic.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I don’t read a lot of alien books but this one was very surprising in the best way possible.

The major issue that I had with this book was probably the pacing. I felt like it took a while to get started. And I was a little bored during the first 100 pages but once the story started to kick off, things started happening and it was wonderful, beautifully executed.

Also, I’m sort of obsessed with Daemon and Dee. I’m also very curious as to what happened to their brother. There has to be more to the story. I will just have to read the sequel then.
