Actually I really enjoyed this short story! I was in the mood for something like this, is very fun and the narrator does a great job.
Also, George is my fav from the new characters.

It's a book by Cassandra Clare. Need I have to say more? Oh, and I missed Jace.

It was okay but I felt a huuuge Harry Potter vibe. I missed Simon a fuck lot and I can't wait to read the rest of the novellas!

I think this book was a wonderful start to the spin off series, Shadowhunter Academy. I'm so excited that we get to learn more about Simon as he starts this new journey!

The characters in it seem wonderful, and I'm excited to learn about them.

It's a very short book that you can see how much Simon struggles with the world of shadow hunters and trying to become one . 3 1/2 stars

Since this is a very short story, only 100 pages long, i will keep it short.

This is a side story that originates in The Mortal Instruments Saga where we take on Simon's decision of joining the Academy to become a ShadowHunter like his friends. Main problem? He has a lack fo memory of recent events since he was turned from a vampire to a human.

I must say it's a clever way to introduce new readers to the series and please the ones you already have since the genius plot device of amnesia makes the information known before completely useless, i mean, if the main character doesn't recall anything you don't need too worry about it.

Likable characters, simple narrative and a cool vibe.

Oh, I love this so much. Simon is just... awesome. He's amazing, and I'm so happy Cassandra Clare decided to do this series. He's just one of my favorite characters in any series, period.

This first installation is phenomenal. I both bawled and laughed hysterically. I loved it. :)

And I'm thrilled that we're getting to see more of Catarina! Love her!

"I don't remember much, but I remember enough. I remember I was a person back then, just as much as I am now. Becoming a Shadowhunter won't change that, if I ever do become a Shadowhunter. I've forgotten enough. I will not forget that."

I loved seeing the characters from the Mortal Instruments, and the new characters were interesting. I thought the plot was good, but I just wasn't drawn into the writing style. The writing just seemed to be lacking the connection to the character that is usually there. Overall, it was a good short read.

"I don't remember hell all that well," Simon said. "But I think I recall it was nicer than this."

Was habe ich hier gerade gelesen?
