Relationship was cuteish, though I did take some issue with the male lead - the author does tend to write possessive partners and I wasn't expecting this to be an exception so I overlooked it for the most part. I really liked Luna and I was actually quite interested in her work as it is something I am fairly unfamiliar with. I do also love found families so that was a nice component of the book.
Spoiler I would have really liked it if Luna had broken her cousin's hand quite honestly

It’s no secret I love Mariana Zapata books. Ugh.

Of course it was a glorious slow burn, but it was so satisfying because the plot and the characters were  necessary to get to know before the love really kicked you in the gut. Rip and Luna were so wonderful!

Definitely a recommend read!

Huh. I Have mixed feelings about this.

On the ond hand, I really liked Luna. I felt myself seen in several things and it was both comforting and uncomfortable.

I wanted the "lie" to be more explored, tbh. It felt flat, that was a shame. But i really enjoyed the plot surrounding Luna and Ripley.

Ripley... I liked him. It took me a while to like him, to be honest. Specially after the 40% mark of the book. He had some issues, byt I enjoyed his backstory.

Overall, this us better than "Under Locke" but definetely not my favorite Zapata book.
