Enough with the cliffhangers!!!! I can't say how much I have loved every single Wool book! Every character, every plot, all of it...and the newest installment doesn't disappoint! I cannot wait for Third Shift!

Whilst stilla good book this was my least favourite of the series so far. It seemed too much like the 2nd part of a trilogy, bridging the gap between the opener and the finale. The story took a while to get going but in the end was enjoyable and I still like the premise behind this series of books. They are all very quick reads so I will finish off the trilogy when I have some free time.

The series continues to be deliciously entertaining. The publishing of the next volume can't come soon enough!

This book is the second of three prequels to Wool, following First Shift. In this installment, we get to know Mission, a porter in silo 18, and we meet those in silo 1 who pull all the strings. More of the origin of the silos is revealed.

I found the pacing to be better than in First Shift, and this one ended with a shocking twist. I can't wait for Dust, the final book in this series!

I probably should have re-read First Shift so I was more familiar with the character names, but this was a really solid continuation of the series and once again, I can't wait for the next one.

These books continue to sweep me in. I worry with each installment that the momentum will be lost, the cast of characters go sour, the plot get overdrawn and fall flat.

Instead, each book expands and grows deeper in its overall [sorry] awesomeness. Bridging over now into human psychology and an inspection of our historical motivations, this series is both addicting and well worth devouring. Each episode perfect as a single serving, so set aside a Saturday and read.

Doom. Destruction. Why do I keep reading this series? My claustrophobia grows, but I can't put it down. Plus, the boys in my family are reading it: can't be outdone by them.

Enthralled and frustrated all at the same time. So many new questions to ask while a few have been answered.

Eagerly and impatiently awaiting the next installment.

Thanks Hugh, keep on keeping on.

So few authors let us see how these post-apocalyptic worlds came to be, instead spending all the time on the after. Really loved both First Shift and Second Shift and I am tempted to go back and read books 1-5 just to stay in that world a little longer.
