I loved this book. I didn’t watch the show beforehand so it was all new to me. It was heartbreaking and inspiring without being corny. Although Elizabeth felt almost other-worldly, she was relatable.
And I liked that the ending was tied up in a neat little bow. Sometimes is nice not to have to guess.
Anyways, I would highly recommend this book and will honestly be recommending it to all of my friends in the near future.

I did not expect to love this book as much as I did. It is a great story and I loved the characters and points of view - but more than that it was a great narrative on the trials and tribulations of being a woman, especially at this point in history. It walks through many heartbreaks and traumas but also does not pretend to be anything but what it is. I loved the inspiration and encouragement for women to do anything and keep fighting the societal norms - it was a more STEM version of Barbie in that way. The final way to sell me is always with a story of love and loss - even better when you have a lovable dog involved. I would not normally haven picked this up but am so glad I did. I loved it.

One of the most riveting books I’ve ever read. Spoke to me on a molecular level.
