Love Ami's books and I was warned that this particular book was going to be VERY dark and boy we're they right. So many trigger warnings but the tension kept me interested! 

Very intert plot but I'm so confused by the ending! Can someone please explain this I've read other reviews and can't figure out what that ending was about! 

Anyway loved the book, love the author and very much a dark romance!

I honestly thought this book was a standalone. It isn't. I'm hoping Amo ends up continuing the story and tells us what happens. The story off Merkari and Niko is dark, twisted, and gory. There is a lot of time changes during the story and lots of open ends of chapters. I found it hard to follow. It is still well written and I'd still read more of Amo's books but I'm not sure this was my favorite. If you read it perhaps you can explain it to me. LoL.
