Sooo much packed
I read Seeking Stars and loved it, but I was not ready for everything we unpacked in this short Novella. I had to stop and take deep breaths very early on, and by the end, I was full on sobbing.
I feel so seen in a positive way.
Also... I need more healthy communication tropes.
**SPOILERISH**
You know how most smutty books have super deep conversations centered around sx scenes and come with aftercare... this book had that deep conversation and aftercare ... without the sx, and it was 100 times better.
I mean, we still get the spice, and I can't believe I am saying this, but this Novella could have been completely a closed door romance, and it still would have been amazing, because HEALTHY COMMUNICATION.
I LOVE IT!

“Love in Times of Contempt” is a gripping novella sequel that follows the compelling journey of Liam and Ana in the world of fame. Their evolving relationship amidst the pressures of celebrity life is both authentic and captivating. I thoroughly enjoyed witnessing their growth and found their chemistry irresistible. With its engaging plot and well-developed characters, this novella is sure to leave readers wanting more.

super cute and fast read!
Was a sweet, fun and multicultural celebrity romance that I ate up quickly. I’m definitely interested in Alex and Elys story next!

It was nice to visit these Ana and Liam, especially after how the book ended. I like to see the couples being able to work through things. Can I say I was more into meeting Alex and seeing what happened with Ely.

It felt a little pretentious to me. I didn’t enjoy it as much.
