Ok. I loved our main characters, following them was a total pleasure, i think they'll stay with me for a while at least. 
I loved all the mistery element, i didn't have a hard time figuring out the whole thing but i loved it anyways.

that, at the end they dedicated their life to trying to keep kids safe is so beautiful

The ending tho, was a disapointment, and I'm so sad it kinda threw the whole book down from 5 stars to 3.75.

the unfolding of everything was lazy imo, so many things didn't get properly explained or worked through, and i didn't like who he ends ups with at the end, i never felt the romantic feelings from them tbh

Yes I finished this book in two days but I think it was only because it was the weekend and my life is sorely lacking in entertaining media at the moment. The first half of the book was very slow and the big twist half-way through was a little predictable which makes me feel like the dragging in the first half was wasted time. Especially considering how quickly the book wrapped up at the very end. I saw some other reviews saying the same thing and I definitely agree. This is a small spoiler but if this book didn't have a happy ending it would have been a one star for me. So thank god it was a happy ending. The kids have been through enough.
