Glorious. Love the central metaphor, love the structure of the book, returning again and again while moving out to encompass more with each pass. Beautiful, lush language.

3.5 - it wasn’t grey but it wasn’t terrible either. the poems about his accident and his wings intrigued me but the later themes of hunting seemed unnecessary and confusing to me
