Dove and Zane:
Zane vowed to protect Dove as kids and his obsession with her grew and intensified over the years. Dove doesn’t remember him but he remembers everything about her. Zane lurks within the shadows to keep her safe. Zane claimed Dove as his and he does everything he can to ensure her safety.
Zane wasn’t ready to introduce himself to Dove but circumstances changed and Dove’s safety was immediately impacted. Zane utilized extreme measures by kidnapping her and bringing her to an underground safe house that he built specifically for Dove. Every aspect of the safe house was built with Dove in mind - everything built based her likes and dislikes.
At the end, Zane needs to make a decision to take Dove out of the safe house or let her hate him forever but her safety is guaranteed. The story ends on a cliffhanger and is wrapped up in the second book.

i loved this book. it had angst. it had obsessive man. it was everything i was looking for. ML is obsessed with FL bc so after that he went in prison but got out and became obsessed with her. it’s very good and smexy.

she saved him from a beating in foster care when she was younger. she got a nasty scar from it but she thought he died but he went back and killed the person who hurt her.
