Would have been 5 stars, but I wasn't really satisfied with the ending. That said, I was up all night reading it from cover to cover.

Do not trust the blurb on the back of the book. This is not an exciting story about a bookseller hunting down his stolen rare book, it is SAD and there is a lot of tragedy crammed into 250 pages.

This is a book that is simultaneously light and fun, while also being very emotionally heavy. It was some "common" tropes (not in a bad way) put together for a unique story about a bookstore owner whose life takes an unexpected turn when a toddler shows up in his bookstore - and his life just goes in different directions from there as do the lives of some of his family and friends. I liked this one, but didn't love this one as I thought I might.
