Wow, finally got this out of the tbr after years of Steph Bohrer recommending it!
Archer's Voice has its problems, the main one being that so much TRAGEDY happens to these two main characters that sometimes it feels like the author just wanted to add some ✨️extra drama✨️ for the sake of it. Still, a good old small town romance book with a twist and well written characters.

3⭐️~ This book was certainly an interesting read for me. I started it in November 2022 and just finished it in June 2023. It’s safe to say that I didn’t enjoy it very much.

Throughout the book Bree sort of annoyed me and some points so did Archer. It was definitely a crazy plot and story. The writing just wasn’t really my fav and I didn’t love the characters much either. It was just really difficult to get through and often found myself bored and aggravated while reading it. I’m shocked I finished it at all.

However, it was a beautiful story especially reading about Archer’s development into a more confident version of himself but it just wasn’t a favorite for me which is why I gave it three stars.

Loved this book. The writing was gorgeous and the vibe was perfect. This book is a mix of small town romance with characters marked by their dark pasts and kinda slow burn…? Also, there is dual pov, which I absolutely adore in general but especially in this one. No one can say anything against my precious Archer. I loved how this book shows that men can also suffer and be miserable and need to be cared for and can cry and can be in love so wholeheartedly. On the contrary, the book tackles some pretty tough traumatic experience (Bree: rape/sexual assault and Archer: family issues) as well, so be sure to check the trigger warnings. Yet, this book perfectly describes how two people can heal through love, trust and communication and that’s what I love about it. Actually, it’s not a stereotypical love story but a book about tenderness and understanding. At last: read this book, it’s pretty awesome and even worth a reread.

Ps: you should not read this book if anyone (your parents for instance) can look over your shoulder (I speak from personal experience) xD

4.5/5 stars. For a long time this felt like a 5-star read, and I still really loved this book, but the end wasn’t my favorite. Overall, there were so many things I appreciated. Archer and Bree’s love was so gentle and pure, Archer is precious, and I loved the small town. So many wholesome side characters, some drama, and a whole lot of growth. I really loved Bree’s character - she just felt so mature. I am so glad I finally read this, Archer Hale is definitely up there amongst my book boyfriends 😅
