It was such a fun read and the format was exciting. A great change of pace. Loved taking notes while reading to try and figure it all out. 

I've already recommended it to so many people.

I really like when books feel like nothing has happened, and then all of the sudden a bombshell drops and you realize stuff has been happening the whole time! This felt like… like Liane Moriarty meets Agatha Christie. I was left with some loose ends (who the actual f was Jackie Marsh? Did she ever get her passport back?), but mostly felt like the author gave appropriate closure and answers, without spoon feeding it to the reader.

I loved this book but it also ruined my sleep schedule. Once I was halfway through with it, I could not put it down anymore.

I really enjoyed reading the story through the several emails, texts and the occasional note. It allowed me to learn a lot of different things, from several perspectives. At first it was a bit hard to keep track of everyone and who they were but I ended up memorising most of them; and there are two cheat sheets in case you forget haha

I really enjoyed the format in which this was written: email correspondence and texts between a small community of people. It was engrossing, especially once I got a feel for each character’s voice. The characters are vividly portrayed and at times I laughed out loud at people’s comments that encompassed typical community gossip stereotypes. My only criticism is the introduction of new bits of evidence and the abrupt transitions to present day/the law students really took me out of the story and felt quite choppy.

I really enjoyed this book. It was fun, intriguing and entertaining. Everything you’d expect from a Miss Marple esque mistery thriller.
