Valentines Day is more than mushy stuff. Hilarious illustrations show a budding relationship between Cat and his new neighbor Dog. All the feels without being overly mushy.

Love this cranky cat and laughed to see he does not enjoy Valentine's Day!

I love this series! Always fun stories, told in an engaging way that leaves the reader laughing. Plus Cat always learns a good lesson by the end.

February 2018 - Ben got more of the humor each time we read it.

I continue to love Cat's distinctly cat-like attitude (ie, sassy and aloof with the occasional expression of affection or kindness). This poem is great:

Violets are Blue
Roses are Red
Stop throwing garbage
Onto my head.

I also really appreciated that this isn't a mushy Valentine's Day book; it's about showing affection towards your friends. The Cat books continue to be some of my favorite funny picture books to recommend to patrons!

Excellent, adorable book! The cat speaks entirely in signs, as in, holding up signs with pictures to the viewer to express himself. This is the second book starring Valentine Cat. He's got a new neighbor, a dog, and he really doesn't want to send him a Valentine's Day card. So cute!
