Three stories in one, over the span of many years. The first two stories thankfully can be read with little to no knowledge of the rest of the Dresden Files, the third story I think does spoil a bit, but not too much. Then again I may change my mind on that point when I actually get that far in the rest of the series.

These stories were so much fun, I was laughing so hard. I would really like to see more of Bigfoot and his son.

I CANNOT GET ENOUGH HARRY DRESDEN IN MY LIFE. I'm pining, y'all. Battle Ground comes out on the 29th, and it's NOT SOON ENOUGH.

This book features a collection of short stories in which Harry takes on a variety of jobs for Strength of a River in His Shoulders, who is a bigfoot. They're fun, funny, and full of Harry's trademark sarcastic wit. I loved it.

For a short story, this was really good. I loved the last one in the three short stories. I should have read this before reading Skin Game. Dresden mentions River Shoulders and I was a little confused, thinking it must have been something I had forgotten.

Absolutely loved it! All three stories were good, the last one completely different, as we sit by as Dresden tells it to a cop.
I enjoyed them extremely, almost more than the last two books in the series. Dresden at his best - and I hope I'll get to see bigfoot again!

“The whole "lets find Bigfoot" thing seems a little ill-planned to me, personally. Granted, my perspective is different than that of non-wizards, but marching out into the woods looking for a very large and very powerful creature by blasting out what you're pretty sure are territorial challenges to fight (or else mating calls) seems... somewhat unwise.
I mean, if there's no Bigfoot, no problem. But what if you're standing there, screaming "Bring it on!" and find a Bigfoot?
Worse yet, what if he finds you?
Even worse, what if you were screaming "Do me, baby!" and he finds you then?
Is it me? Am I crazy? Or does the whole thing just seem like a recipe for trouble?”

A collection of three short stories centering around Bigfoot. These stories take place throughout the series (pre-Changes) and alone provide an interesting arc (Irwin, bigfoot's son, going through school; elementary - college).

Fairly fluffy, as Dresden stories go. But still enjoyable.
