As much as I loved the dualogy, I didn't feel as though I needed to read this one. I think I was just content with the ending we received in Exodus so delving into some of the past and remaining questions wasn't a necessity for me.
TFL reads more like a love letter to Kate's diehard fans, a nice final chapter if you loathe saying goodbye to old friends.
