Yet another book I wish I would've read when I was younger :/ I very much enjoyed reading this at my age—out of all the books I'm reading right now, this continued to be the one at the forefront of my mind—it's just that the reading level is a bit low for me. Other than that, this is the perfect read if you need something short, sweet, and lighthearted!

This was such a sweet and lighthearted read that will scratch your desire for more Kiki, especially if you’ve been wanting more since watching Studio Ghibli’s adaptation of this book. I was pleasantly surprised that there were more adventures Kiki went on in this book than what was shown in the film. Some of them would have been really fun to have seen animated—

I’m very much so not the target audience for this book, so there were things I didn’t care for as much as someone from said audience might, but I appreciated the way Kadono portrayed Kiki’s growth over time.
