I remember reading this when I was about 15. I didn't like it, and thought Adrian was one of the most annoying charachters I had ever come across. Years later, I read the other volumes and could appreciate the humor of it all. Now, I think Adrian is annoying in an amusing kind of way. Sue Townsend is seriously funny.

i needed this. a good laugh. and this book gave me just that.

seriously if you want a good laugh then read this book. it's about Adrian Mole a 13yr old boy who thinks he is an intellectual. it's his diary which is full of his daily random thoughts or events that happen.

set in the 1980s so it's very interesting but also just really funny.

i don't really know what else to say? he reads a lot of books (books that i haven't read so that's good...he's on his way to being an intellectual). i thought it was really funny when he sent his poems to the BBC.

i love how he randomly went to see Blossom (Pandora's pony) and no one knew. and she didn't even find that weird when she found out.

i love how he victimises himself it's hilarious like oh wow shame he's a child from a broken home. but you know he's actually not a bad character, like i love how he joined the Good Samaritans and became friends with Bert etc.

i look forward to reading the rest of the books and see how he grows etc

so if you want a good laugh then read this book. it is in diary format so if you don't like that then...try it anyways! it's an easy fun book so enjoy!

Happy Reading! =D

p.s i really feel sorry for the dog. i can't remember if it even has a name!
