Short, sweet and unless you've read all the other books in the series, not a traditional novella.

This is more a series of vignettes that give a peek into the complex relationship between Lovejoy and Mana.

I was very pleased to see how much his pack loves him and stuck up for him after Mana broke his heart and very happy that she knew how much of a mistake she'd made.

Very short, but Carriger has a gift for making you care and making sure you know that however broken you may feel, there is still hope.

A great addition to the overall story line, my only complaint is that it was too short! When is the next one out? :)

Quick, bittersweet, and lovely. Good addition to the universe (this one and the San Andreas one).

Absolutely beautiful (and most definitely not a standalone)

A nice sweet novella conclusion to Mana and Lovejoy's story, which has been playing out in the background through the other books in the series.

It was nice to see Lovejoy’s perspective (finally), as he’s been the least fleshed out character in the series for me. This was very short but quite sweet.

A short glimpse into the relationship between Mana and Lovejoy. Intense, intimate, rewarding. So much emotion in a short story. I can't wait to read more of these two.

This is an interstitial story in the San Andreas Shifters series. While you can read it standalone, I recommend reading the series because being familiar with the characters and their place in the universe adds so many layers to the story.

Such a nice short story, I wondered what would happen with Mana and Lovejoy. I feel this book really excells in showing Mana's feelings and failings, it also made me like lovejoy much more, before I didn’t really think much about him, I was glad to get to know him a little better.
