What was that ending??? Completely maddening and complete perfection all at once. This book had so many characters that I had a hard time keeping them straight- however once I remembered who someone was in any given passage they had been so vividly previously drawn that I really really remembered them. It would have been nice (like when reading Dickens) to have watched a movie or series beforehand just to have a picture in my head so that I didn't have that lag time. However, there is no way that a show could capture the complexity of thought and character happening here, in my opinion.
