This was another great addition to the JoJo Makoons series--in this book, JoJo is trying to figure out what it means to be fancy before her Aunt gets married. In true JoJo form, she puts her own spin on things, sometimes to the confusion or frustration of the others around her. The end message of the book is that being fancy starts on the inside, and being helpful can be the best way to be fancy. Definitely a recommended series for 2nd-3rd grade!

Jo Jo Makoons is a great character to read about because you never know what kind of scrapes she'll get into even though she's just trying to be helpful. I really enjoyed the wrong readings of different body language she encountered throughout the book.
