32 is a fun one too with the twins and haruhi which i now realize wasn’t the halloween episode in the anime i don’t know why i thought it was but there’s that
the stuff with bossanova is a good time too i especially like the way tamaki acts in the last chapter and how my man finally realized his feelings
excited to see where the manga goes since pretty all the anime has been covered

More backstory! This time we see how Tamaki and Kyoya became friends(?).

Class 1-A has a contest to see who the biggest cowards are. You'd think the twins would be naturals at scarring, but you'd be surprised. Haruhi gets more insight into the twins while being unphased by the contest.

A new supporting character is introduced. Kasanoda is the son of a Yakuza boss who raised him to be feared. But the kid has a big heart and doesn't want to frighten everyone. The Host Club tries to help and they're getting better at planning even if their execution isn't perfect. Kasanoda--or Casanova or Bossa Nova as the HC nicknames him--sticks with it and eventually Haruhi figures him out and...he falls in love with her. This leads to a great image of Haruhi as a Yakuza wife. Kasanoda shows up after his story is done and he remains delightful.

The episodes in this volume were a lot of fun! We started out with the episode the goodreads synopsis explains up above. Hikaru and Kaoru are their typical mischievous selves, and I love them.

We then get more information on Kyoya’s backstory/friendship with Tamaki. It’s funny how Tamaki has literally never changed throughout his years at school. He’s such a special cinnamon roll.

My favorite episodes of the volume were those with Kasanoda. I felt so bad for him because he just wants to have friends and love animals but everyone is afraid of him because of his scary face.

The scary episode and Kyoya episode were just missing some oomph in my opinion. Hunny and Mori weren’t in this volume too much, and I missed them. I like it when everything is balanced. I’m still loving these volumes though. Fantastic.

This whole volume was so adorable. From the class going against each other for scares to meeting a new character. Honestly I was just thinking about this character to and wondering when I’ll meet him in the books since I loved him in the anime. It was just perfect timing. Even though I can’t pronounce his name for shit and also say Casanova like it’s second nature I just live him. Plus his whole gang even though scared of him they are always on his side and fighting for him in many ways. I just love it! I also totally forgot he ends up liking haruhi and watching that unfold was so cute!
