After losing her twin brother in a school shooting, Morgue goes to spend the summer with her aunt, someone who has her own problem to face. In ‘Broken Piano Keys’, Bedlam continues to focus on avoided or taboo subjects and works them to great effect. I have enjoyed everything I have read by her and although I felt this one sagged a little in the middle, it was, like all the rest, worth reading.
