Crazy, sexy, steamy, hilariously over-the-top book. Characters, this time main focus is on Blake, are so confident in their station in life, yet also so vulnerable and with hidden insecurities.

This series, and this book takes over where Gossip Girl left off, but ramps it up a few notches. The story and the characters are so awesome that you turn pages without noticing that you've read 250 pages. I could happily read 250 more. Hope the series continues and I can read a few more of these books.

I super highly recommend.

3.5 Stars only because I felt like there should have been a bit more to the story. I loved Avery's warning for prudes - sex is a part of life regardless if it involves bondage. I'm curious to see the next installment as well as the other books that are associated with this story. I like books for entertainment, but I really like a lesson learned or something for the reader to take away and ponder. This book made me think I was watching an episode of Gossip Girl.

basically a fame centric book (which is a genre I love). what I remember (6 months later) is dyslexia, hospitals & investigations, 2003, and twas the holiday season.

I also read this was a standalone but was part of a series. actually this is a book you can read before the others, but is actually involving other plots outside of this book aka not standalone. so yeah I want to know more, but I ain't got the money to spend it on all the books, so yeah I haven't read this series/story for awhile.

ARC received for an honest review

I am a big fan of The Manhattanites series by Avery Aster, so I absolutely love these snippets into the earlier years of Lex, Taddy, Vive and Blake.

As big, bold and brassy as the are now, it is great to see the teenage side of them.

This is Blake's story, and boy do I love this boy. I love seeing his shy side, the love he has for his family and his BFF, VBF and BFFL (aka as his ladies). I adore his relationship with his best friend Thor, the love of his family.

And who will be the man to win his heart?

With the first couple of Undergrad books, there sure seems to have been a fair amount of bad luck amongst the group, but as this story unfolds we see that there may be more than meets the eyes.

This story had fun and laughter, but also so much sadness and tears.

Now I can't wait for more Undergrads and Manhattanites books!

So, I would have liked to have seen this book go further, maybe take that whole someone's-out-to-kill them scenario and made it into a sequel. But that's just me. This was a very steamy read and the sexual tension between Blake and Diego was tense, and I'm a woman. I felt bad about the situation with Taddy, but her and Leon getting married, not so sure about that. I have reservations like Blake does. Poor Thor. My heart just sank when that happened, but I knew it was coming before I read that far. This was a nice quick read.

I received an arc of this from Net Galley. I loved this and because it was mm I enjoyed it more. I just thought that was perfect timing to throw something different in the mix. I recommend this series to anyone looking for something new to read. They all make me laugh :-)

I found the mix of past and current storytelling to be eratic and unfocused. I didn't feel like I could connect the characters or their experiences. What was going on and how it was told gave the story any credibility.
