Agatha Raisin is an entertaining main character for sure. Not the most friendly or likable person, but she's very relatable to me. The story was often quite hilarious.

God this didn't age well. No I don't mean the fatphobia or use of "oriental", but the conversation about how they don't need air conditioning because there'll never be a summer like this in England again. Hooooo boy......

2.5 stars - It was alright, an average book.

This was a typical cozy though I enjoyed the protagonist more than most. It was charming and made for a quick and easy read, but was a bit unrealistic with an amateur sleuth outwitting the professionals.
