The first part was very slow but the second much better. The end has a nice twist. Some good quotes but overall not a book I would reread.
It's about a woman, how she faces loneliness and her inner demons.

Honestly, when i started reading it, i thought that it is just another hyped book that i am not going to like. But I was wrong, as i continued reading, it was difficult to put it down. As i got to know the characters more, i could relate to Eleanor sometimes much more deeply than i had anticipated i would. It is brilliantly written. I definitley recommend it everyone.

I hated Eleanor in the beginning but I decided to trust the process and obviously didn’t hate her by the end.  Raymond was genuinely giving me nothing, I think his character could’ve had way more depth and I would’ve liked to see more meaningful interactions between them. The makeover stuff was kinda bizarre and ultimately irrelevant. I guess like you got to see her having positive interactions with the women helping her which was cool but that was a weird way to do it. Genuinely did not see that coming at the end but in hind sight makes a lot of sense. Overall just kind of lacked depth.

This is an excellent read.  The first half was a bit slower, and the second half, just wow.  I could have easily enjoyed another hundred pages.

Quirky, and heartfelt. While also managing to teach us the different ways people cope with their own traumas??
