I really loved this book. It was written so beautifully, and i want the hard copy for a re-read because i don't think kindle dose prose justice. The last third of this book was heartbreaking The author really brings you with them and it's hard to turn away. Loved this, definitely recommending it to others.

So much respect for Fatimah's writing. The way she alters structure and re-engages the eye is masterfully purposeful and perfectly aligned with a story that takes up space in your heart. Truly inspiring and invigorating.

this book caught me by surprise in the best way. i felt completely enveloped by its words and form, losing all sense of time and space. i didn’t want it to end but couldn’t stop turning the pages. this is special. it will stay with me forever.
