I really like the narrators and that it is dual pov, I just noticed that I not liked the story as much as before. Lots of situations changed and some of them I liked whilst others not so much. I do think there is more suspense and action and it had some interesting twists!

I love Tate James and the worlds she creates. This is the second book in her Valenshek Legacy series and it does its job for sure. This book builds off of Heist and picks up right where it left us.

John had to make a decision that he didn’t want to make and spends a majority of this book trying to make amends with Tris. But she’s stubborn and strong and not quite what she seems as well. When she has to make a snap decision, she wasn’t prepared for the direction that the decision is sending her.

Go grab this one, it’s fantastic. You have to read Heist first but that’s really not a hardship! Like her other books this one reads like a movie, it’s action packed, incredibly visual and just a whole lot of fun. It is part of a trilogy though, so don’t look for that HEA, because you won’t find one. But what you will find is a captivating story that you didn’t know you needed!

4.5 / 5.0 these two need to just talk to one another! The miscommunication is so infuriating but this book is SO GOOD!! Gah, stupid Tate James and her mastery… stupid Madison Kate and her boys and this Game… stupid pink diamond ring.

This was so freaking good. The plot just gets more entangled and I was waiting so patiently for Tris to find out who John really is. She may not know who he is yet, but she’s starting to find out. Which making this story so addicting. It’s all untangling slowly. Tris is wrapped up in a mafia family and John is wrapped up in Tris. I love Tink in this one too, she’s so funny. Sin I liked him until the end, he’s not all he seemed.

I can’t wait to find out what happened to Nelson, I have so many theories one that includes his husband. But I really can’t wait to see how it all unfolds. This series is sexy and completely toxic in the best way! I also can’t wait to find out who the mystery woman of Sin’s is, I have a feeling that may be our next SG story?! Sin may not be a good guy, but there is something interesting there. Tate is so good with writing the unexpected!
