Like a lot of books this year, this books really changed the way I look at the world. Specifically, it made me realize how precarious human rights, and especially women’s rights, actually are. One little slip and we could have had a complete different timeline. It could be worse and it could be better. I loved the way this books made me ask questions and want to find out more about all of the history and ideas it talks about, but also told a really fun and interesting story!

intentionally DNF. couldn't get into this one at all. skipped to the end and thought the ending also seemed boring. :/ bummer
