It was a nice book, but I would have loved it more if we got some more context of what their relationship was like when they were kids or something. This is the first book I’ve read in this series, and I’m excited to read the others. The whole thing just happened too fast for me.

Somehow the mulvaney's involvement feels a bit out of place here,

i almost skipped this one and i am SO glad i didn’t. i loved dimitri and arlo so much. did i think of the movie “the good dinosaur” several times? yes but it’s fine 😂 i can’t wait to see their cameo in the next book!

This book is about Calliope’s son Dimitri who is a psychopath. This is a novella, so I didn’t expect too much. But it gives me so much, a plot & spicy romance between Dimitri & Arlo. And also cameo appearances of the Mulvaney brothers which I love the most. The storyline is based on a single night but you will see a single night can change a person’s life. I love this series & Mulvaney brothers & their bonding & now Dimitri.
You can read it as a standalone, you don’t miss anything because every Book is about a different couple. But I recommend you the full series in order because every book has a cameo appearance & when it happened you can’t enjoy their character if you’re not reading it in order.
