Genuinely such a good book, almost cried from start to finish and did read it in 2 days… only issue is that the writing came up so strange on my kindle (like a paragraph break in the middle of words…) but that might be why it was cheaper than another version, so self inflicted.

Such a sad circumstance that we all hope we never have to live through. So well written and expressed. I feeo weird about rating this, but I'll give 5 stars for how captivating yet calm this book was.

a compassionate look at assisted suicide, the right to die, and the difficulties of loving someone in cognitive decline. 

basically, there’s no good option for Alzheimer’s. 

I had read Amy Bloom’s NYT article and heard her on Fresh Air before reading this, so I maybe expected there to be significantly more in the book itself?  Not really an issue, just comprehensive advertising I guess.
